I don’t know if something can be too colorful. Color is one of the great properties of glass and is more intense in glass than any other material.

You can choose from a vast and diverse lineup of existing styles, with the flexibility to change colors and sizes to perfectly suit your unique decor and personal tastes. Additionally, you may purchase directly from my current inventory. I welcome the opportunity to collaborate with you in developing custom glass art and functional pieces that specifically meet your individual needs and preferences. The pieces I create come in a wide range of sizes—some are as small and delicate as drink stirrers and holiday ornaments, while others are larger and more impactful, such as platters and statement glass art installations. At Wits End Designs, I provide examples and thoughtful guidance to assist you in making a confident decision within the body of work that aligns with my design concepts. My designs proudly grace homes across the United States—from Oregon to New Jersey, Maine to Florida—as well as in various locations throughout Europe. I sincerely hope you will consider allowing me to bring my distinctive creations of light and structure into your home or those of your family and friends.

The Christmas Pickle
To start a tradition that surely will last,
Here's a short story about the pickle of glass.
The night before Christmas
It's hung on the tree.
While everyone's sleeping it's done secretly.
And on Christmas morning when you arise,
The first one to find it will get a surprise.
A family tradition for all to share.
You'll look for the pickle year after year.
Check out last year’s Christmas Open House at Wits End Design Studio — a festive celebration of creativity and community. Guests enjoyed exclusive looks at Cheryl’s latest designs. The event was filled with warmth, inspiration, and the perfect holiday spirit. Hope to see you at this year’s celebration!

Ornaments of Christmas Past
The Vintage Textured Collection
This collection was inspired by Laurie Spray, a talented potter residing in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Laurie creates her own molds from clay, providing unique shapes and textures for fused glass artists to work with. Cheryl has treasured this new connection, valuing the collaboration and the artistry that emerges from combining their crafts.

“Under the sea,
Under the sea
Darling it’s better
Down where it’s wetter
Take it from me.
Up on the shore they work all day
Out in the sun they slave away
While we’re devotin’
Full time to floatin’
Under the sea.”

Strip Glass Construction Collection
Strip cut glass construction is a fascinating technique that I have been experimenting with and refining for the past four years in order to create these truly one-of-a-kind pieces. I have been continually impressed and delighted by the rippling movement that these plates exhibit, with the reds flickering and dancing like lively flames, the blues shimmering and sparkling reminiscent of serene bodies of water, and the clear sections gleaming and glistening much like frozen ice catching the light.
